The house was originally purchased by a family of architects in 1966, and it has been beautifully maintained in keeping with its original style and character. It has thick stone walls that keep it cool in the summer, the original Sifnian flagstone floors and traditional chestnut beamed ceilings. The internal layout is typical of the Cycladic island, comprising of a high ceiling salon, with seating and dining area, two bedrooms (one with double bed the second with two singles), a hall and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and it is external to the house, on its courtyard (please see house layout). There is also a small veranda, leading off the second bedroom with views over the town and surrounding mountains. The house is suitable for up to 5 persons.
The living room is air conditioned, and it offers a radio, television, and MP3/ ipod speakers.
