The Province of Antwerp is in northern Belgium with East Flanders to
the west, Limburg to the east, Flemish Brabant to the south and the Dutch
province of North Brabant to the north. The province is situated mainly on the
right bank of the Scheldt River, when it reaches the City of Antwerp, the
provincial capital, it is 500 metres wide.
The province of Antwerp has a long tradition of production, export and trade.
The infrastructure, production facilities, research and education are fully
developed.
