In the heart of the Luberon, perched high on hill circled by olive
groves and lavender fields, sits the Domaine des Andéols, a “hôtel
de charme” consisting of nineteen luxury bedrooms distributed among ten
separate houses. Each house is a unique combination of originality, charm
and comfort that contains a treasure trove of rare and unusual objects,
furniture by major designers and important works of art.
Domaine des Andeols, a member of the prestigious Home Like
Collection, is so much more than a hotel can ever be.
A village of exotic guest houses, this Provencal hamlet is perched on a scenic
rise, surrounded by lakes, orchards, woods and gardens. From art to music, the
owners have gathered the fruits of their extensive journeys to unite a global
spirit with the soul of Southern France.
Accommodation
Villas & Suites
Ten houses, each different, and each filled with works of art and design by
contemporary photographers, painters, designers and decorators…Not two are
alike, because each of the Domaine des Andéols’ ten houses is a collection of
memories.
Memories and souvenirs of voyages, experiences, and emotions in which each
textile, piece of furniture, color, object or work of art conjures its own
story. Here, we have La Maison des Amoureux (The Lovers’ House) and La Maison
des Amis (The Friends’ House); there, La Maison des Cascades (The Waterfall
House); further on La Maison de Toujours (The Forever House); then La Maison des
Lointains (The House of Afar)… La Maison des Terrasses (The Terrace House) and
La Maison Rouge (The Red House) make a pair, and La Maison Blanche (The White
House) and La Maison de l’Artiste (The Artist’s House) are neighbors. La Maison
des Voyagers (The Traveller's House) overlooks La Maison des Saveurs (the
restaurant) and La Maison d’Eau (the swimming pool)…

Bars & Restaurants
The restaurant at Domaine des Andéols is a voyage to the heart of Provençal
cuisine. Echoing the beauty of the surroundings, it expresses the region’s
abundance, scents, warmth and “joie de vivre.”
It is a sensual and epicurean promenade, where flavours and fragrances
intermingle, where everything harmoniously mixes and melds in response to the
rhythms of the seasons.
The Head chef works with fifty varieties of sun-gorged tomatoes, locally grown
beans, apricots, garden figs,
Luberon lamb and regional wild herbs…
The wine list is regionally-based, with sixty selections from the Rhone Valley,
the Luberon and Provence.
Location
Saint Saturnin les Apt is a large village in the Luberon built
on a rock, over which two 17th century windmills and the ruins of a medieval
château keep watch. Despite the new housing developments which surround this
market town, Saint Saturnin is a village brimming with history. Take your time
walking through the central streets and you will discover beautiful old houses.
