Rhodes is situated in the south east of the Aegean Sea and it is known
as 'the island in the sun'. Steeped in history with some fascinating ancient
sites and the stunningly beautiful capital of Rhodes Town, the oldest
inhabited, medieval town in Europe. The island has a population of around 90,000
and hosts more than 1,250,000 visitors a year.
