Folegandros is a small and rocky island between Sikinos and Milos. The
600 inhabitants of the island are engaged in fishing and tourism, which has been
grown considerably in recent years. The wild beauty of the barren landscape
where huge rocks alternate with sandy beaches create a wonderful scenic
landscape for the visitor.
Folegandros is rocky and full of thyme bushes producing excellent thyme
honey.
The climate is dry and very healthy, but the barren soil is not suitable for
cultivation.
