Malaysia is located in the heart of southeast Asia consisting of
330,200 km2 and is divided into two main regions: the peninsula of Malaysia
lying just south of Thailand and East Malaysia to the north of Indonesia, on the
island of Borneo. East Malaysia has the larger portion of the total area mainly
comprising of undeveloped land and jungle. The regions are divided into thirteen
states and federal territories.

The temperature that fluctuates little throughout the year therefore travel
in Malaysia is a pleasure. Average temperature is between 21-32° C.
Humidity is high. Rainfall between November to February on the east coast of
peninsula Malaysia, the western Sarawak and north-eastern Sabah. The west coast
of the Malaysian peninsula has rainy seasons during April-May and
October-November.
